Welcome to the Canadian Strong Style Wrestling Academy!
A Professional Wrestling school located in Calgary, Alberta Canada.
Since 2006 head coach Johnny Devine has been helping to guide some of the best professional wrestlers to lace boots. Names like Josh Alexander, Jinder Mahal, Rosemary and many others have all trained in the Canadian Strong Style.
Originally the Dungeon style taught by Stu Hart and the Hart family, Canadian Strong Style evolved with help from Olympic Bronze medalist Bad News Allen Coage, partnerships with stars like Raven, Kevin Nash and arguably the greatest tag team of the modern era, the Dudley Boys.
Training consists of 3 to 6 months training periods depending on student schedules. Part time or 1 day per week students regularly take 6 months to complete training. Full time or 2 to 4 days per week students can complete training in 3 months and begin taking matches when approved by the coach. Once training is completed an open door policy stands for graduates to come in and keep training and learning.

Class sessions are January to March, May to July and September to Nov.
Class times are Saturday and Sunday 12 to 4 pm, Wednesday nights 7:30 to 10 pm
Total Cost is $4000 cdn for new students. $2500 for previously trained students.
Payment plans are available and are on a case by case basis.
Physical requirements: It helps to have some background in sport or exercise but its not required. We can start you at 0 and get you to 5/10 in 3 months. But YOU have to put in the work. Starting Monday Sept 6th for 12 weeks at a time, the CSSA Wrestling school will move to a 4 day per week (mon-thurs) and one day per weekend (Sunday) schedule.
Available space is limited, and no prior training is required.
An advanced student class available.

Johnny Devine: Former TNA X Division Champion, OG Member of Team Canada, Stampede Wrestling Star and Hart Dungeon Graduate. 24 years as a professional wrestler with over 2000 matches and 10 years on TV. Johnny has coached at some of the most prestigious wrestling schools in Canada. Starting the CSSWA in 2006 while injured, he helped start the careers of stars like IMPACT X Division Champion Josh Alexander, Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal, IMPACT Knockouts Champion Rosemary and many more!
